Some pictures from the modeling fair 2012. Yesterday we were giving a little driftshow at the tamiya booth. Here are some impressions from that.
PS: if you want pictures from other modelmaking booths (not rc drift related) please let me know in the comments ;)

Beautiful Twins
The two Team Samurai FCs. The green one belongs to Takumi and the purple one is mine.
the green gremlin creeping from the background
Low and flush, just as we love them ;)
Sadly my body isn't finished yet - still missing wipers, mufflers, a wing and the light kit.
I hope you enjoyed our little "preview" shooting. Both will get some more details and then we'll take some action shots.
Stay Tuned
purple FC: "Team Samurai RX-7" from Yokomo
Paintjob: Tamiya Lame flake, than translucent pink backed with gunmetal grey, pure gunmetal grey for the hood
green FC: Rx-7 Street version from Yokomo

Cockpit
I tried to make the tamiya cockpit more interesting and viewable, even through smoked windows.
sadly though it wont fit my ARD with most bodies, because it is too low and will scrape on the spur gear / front bulkhead :/

New fast DIY steering mod for my ARD CER D11
A quick way to get more angle out of my steering ... I'm surprised myself that worked lol.. streetjam OTA-R31 steering and Square "steering extension" for TA05 VDF. Still needs some fine-tuning but already looks pretty good :)
And dont mind the huge ackerman, the front spur wasnt centered yet, so this is with like 1-2° toe out which i will not leave lol. Will post more pics later after setup and stress-testing.

Art-via Photoshoot
Some older pictures I took of my Tamiya Nissan S15 "art-via".
Nothing to special, actually I took these pictures month ago (before I even shot the video) but somehow I forgot about them. So here they are, enjoy.
And the "old" video:

Drift Meeting in Karlsruhe
The track:
My Yokomo RX-7 FC3S
(before total destruction - will post my progress to try and save this shell soon too)
Was a nice day overall and my setup is perfect now.
Went for stock ARD springs all around, changed my camber in the rear to -2° and front -5° and with my new steering system it just worked like a charm. Looked so real <3
